NATIVE SPECIES. This is an excellent plant for screening and
informal hedging. The new leaves in spring take on a reddish tinge
that faces to green in summer. American Cranberrybush displays 3-4"
white flowers mid to late May, and the medium to dark green leaves
change to yellow through red-purple in fall. It prefers well
drained, moist soil and sun or partial shade.
