PLANET Safety Members
The STARS (Safety
Training Achieves Remarkable
Success) Safe Company Program is a
safety initiative developed by the Professional Landscape Network
(PLANET) to assist green industry companies in reducing hazards and
injuries. The green industry has one of the highest
OHSA-identified hazard rates in the United States and we must focus
on improving the industries safety standards. Our project
managers are committed to company safety excellence and continued
training of employees. We track job-related incidents, meet
OHSA posting and regulatory requirements, annually enter the
PLANET Safety Recognition Awards Program, routinely
discuss safety with employees, share best safety practices with
fellow members and encourage other companies to join.
